Trust - Relationships - Results
It's hardly a revelation that buying or selling of real estate is the biggest decision that many of us will make in our lives. What is less commonly recognized is just how complex the nature of real estate transactions has become and just how many potential pit-falls must be avoided. The goal at Obradovitch Realty, is to inform the Buyer or Seller as to the specific issues of each stage of the transaction to help my client to reach the best decision for them.
Many Realtors, Brokers and Agents try to attract potential home Buyers and Sellers with extensive and costly marketing and advertising plans, promotions, gimmicks or claims. In the endless pursuit to fill the client "pipeline" many often lose track of the personal touch and attention that their clients are owed. This is in part and quite often evident in the promotional advertising that speaks to millions of dollars in sales. Such success speaks to the volume and "turnover" but not to the client satisfaction. This may explain why a recent survey of Buyers and Sellers found that while 80% were "satisfied" with their real estate agent, only 26% used that same agent again.
Among the other challenges faced by Buyers and Sellers alike is the influx of real estate agents to the industry. Finding Brokers/Agents with a significant sales background committed to client needs and dreams can be difficult. Moreover, individual experience is often overstated. A year of highly structured and repetitive work in an area recycled 10 times over does not amount to 10 years of experience. Consider the Broker/Agent's education, skill-set and licensing, overall business and professional experience, proposed approach, commitment and overall value they bring to the table. For far too may, home "turnover" is the real barometer. Your success, however, will depend on the Broker/Agent's abilities, communication and ultimately trustworthiness.
